Sarigerme is located in the district of Ortaca in the Muğla province and is where the Mediterranean and Aegean seas meet.

Sarigerme is now a well established tourist destination, but still retains its rural feel due to the unspoilt scenery and local agriculture.  Sarigerme beach is popular for all sorts of water sports, for example, windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing and water skiing.

Away from the beach, there are numerous walking and cycle trails and unspoilt pine forests and countryside.

The village boasts many bars and restaurants to sample the traditional Turkish cuisine. There is also a wide range of European menus.

Sarigerme is 17 km from Dalaman Airport. 21 km from Ortaca. 98 km from Marmaris. 66 km from Fethiye.

Tourism started in Sarigerme in 1989 and it now has several established all inclusive hotels and has become a very popular holiday destination in Turkey.
